On 26 January 2002, the Canadian newspaper, 'The Vancouver Sun', published an article about Baroness Cox entitled "'Battling Baroness' appeals to missionaries:

The Inter-Church Coalition on Africa, and Sudan

It is disappointing to note that Inter-Church Coalition on Africa (ICCAF) continues to misinform the Canadian public with regard to events in Sudan. ICCAF's clearly selective and unbalanced activity on Sudan has already been commented upon in 'Turning a "Blind Eye and a Deaf Ear to Crimes Against Humanity":

On 15 February 2001, The Globe and Mail published an article on Sudanese-Canadian relations entitled 'Quiet Diplomacy: A Shame and a Farce' written by Dave Toycen, the Chief Executive Officer of World Vision Canada.

TURNING A "BLIND EYE AND A DEAF EAR TO CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY"?

The Inter-Church Coalition on Africa, (ICCAF), states that it is "a Canadian ecumenical forum rooted in the biblical prophetic tradition that calls for justice and peace for all people."

TURNING A BLIND EYE TO WAR CRIMES:
The Globe and Mail's Selective Approach to Human Rights in Sudan

Globe and Mail published an article entitled 'My Week on the Cusp of War'. The article was written by Globe and Mail feature writer Stephanie Nolen, and appeared following a one-week visit by Ms Nolen to an area within southern Sudan controlled by the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA)
MISREPORTING SUDAN:
Linda Slobodian, War Criminals and Islamophobes

In March 2000 the Sun Media group of Canadian newspapers published several articles by Linda Slobodian, with titles such as 'Slaughter of the Innocents'. Ms Slobodian has written on Sudanese affairs for several years for the Calgary Sun. misreporting
