AMERICAN CLAIMS ABOUT
THE AL-SHIFA FACTORY PUT TO THE TEST
|
The United States government
has now made five claims about the al-Shifa factory
in its attempts to justify its Cruise missile attack
on the plant on 20 August 1998. These are as follows:
The al-Shifa plant was making precursors to the
VX nerve gas, namely a compound known as Empta;
